There was some upset when people found out the stage show at Cinderella Castle was ending, which is understandable. People love “Dream Along with Mickey”, so it did not go over well that the show would be ending soon. However, we know now what will be replacing it and it sounds like it is going to be a fun show!
According to Disney Parks Blog, the new show will be called “Mickey’s royal Friendship Faire” and will include some of your favorite characters, some of whom have never been involved in a stage show. Guests will see characters from “The Princess and the Frog,” “Rapunzel,” and “Frozen” in this new castle stage show.
The premise is Mickey and friends are having a festival and have invited friends from all over to join them. That’s when you see Tiana, Naveen, and Louis (invited by Goofy), some of the guys from the Snuggly Duckling (invited by Donald), Rapunzel and Flynn Rider (invited by Daisy) and Olaf, Anna, and Elsa (invited by Mickey as a surprise for Minnie).

Of course, there will be singing and dancing. So there sounds like there will be plenty to keep guests entertained during the show.
“Mickey’s Royal Friendship Faire” will debut sometime in summer 2016. We’ll keep you posted about an exact start date, when it is released.
Are you excited to see this new show?
Thanks for reading!
