This week’s ears in the spotlight are themed after one of the popular rides at Hollywood Studios.
It’s really easy to see the popular ride in the theme of these ears. The colors are the same colors that can be found on the cast members’ uniforms. These are a fun pair and great for a day in Hollywood Studios.
The ears on this pair are pretty simple. A deep red velvet material covers both sides of the ears and the ears are padded nicely. The outer edge of the ears is lined with a gold colored roping.
The bow has a little more detail to it than the ears. It’s made of a faux leather material, and has the same colors and pattern as the hat that the cast members wear at the ride. Tucked in the middle of the bow is a key with the letters HTH on it, which stands for the name of the old hotel, Hollywood Tower Hotel. Hanging from the key is a gold colored tassel, which matches back to the gold roping on the ears.
Two different black materials cover the headband. A textured faux leather material covers the outside of the headband, and a non-slip velour material covers the inside. On one side of the headband is a metal plate that says Disney Loungefly.
If you love ride specific ears then these are a good pair to add to the collection. The ears are not available on shopDisney.com, but they can be found in shops at Hollywood Studios.
