This week’s ears in the spotlight are the first ones in the Minnie Mouse: The Main Attraction collection.
This new collection releases a new themed headband (among other items) every month in 2020. This month’s theme was Space Mountain and the ears are really cute. Plus, I love the color purple, so that was a bonus for me with this theme.
Silver and white sequins cover the front and back of the sequins. With all the sequins they definitely sparkle. They also have a generous amount of stuffing in them so they are puffy.
The bow has a lot going on with these ears. The bow itself is purple and the design on it makes it looks like a scene in space, complete with a hidden Mickey. In the middle of the bow is a Space Mountain metal embellishment. Behind the bow are three loops made out of net tube with silver thread wrapped in it.
The headband has two different fabrics. An iridescent purple fabric covers the outside of the headband, which fits in well with the space theme of the headband. A white velour fabric covers the inside of the headband, so it feels very soft.
I love everything about these ears and was happy to be able to get a pair. With this collection there is a limited amount sold. So, unfortunately, these ears have sold out since they were released. However, a new themed ear will be available on February 15 with the new collection release. The next theme will be Pirates of the Caribbean and it looks like there’s a ship in with the bow on the next themed ears. Take a look below at the picture Disney released for the next collection.
