This week’s ears in the spotlight take inspiration from one of Disney’s classic rides.
It’s pretty easy to see the design inspiration for this headband. Pirates of the Caribbean is one of Disney’s most popular and classic rides. It’s so popular that Disney ended up making several movies with the same title as the ride.
The ears on this headband are soft and padded. The material on the ears is a red velvet debossed brocade fabric. A shimmering cord of the same color trims the edge of the ears.
There is no bow on this headband. Instead, sitting in the middle is a faux leather pirate captain’s hat. In the middle of the hat is a raised skull and crossbones, and around the edge of the had is a gold braided material. Also, there is a bandana knot to the side made of the same material that covers the ears.
A red faux leather material covers the outside of the head. For the inside of the headband a black nonslip velour material is used. On the side of the headband is the Pirates of the Caribbean logo.
This would be a fun headband to wear for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, for those that don’t wear full costumes.
