Disney’s After Hours events have been pretty popular among guests. So in response to the popularity, Disney keeps adding more dates.
The most recent After Hours events to get more dates added are the Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom events. During Disney After Hours there are an extremely limited number of people in the parks, which leads to very short short lines for some of the most popular rides. During After Hours in Magic Kingdom I rode Seven Dwarfs Mine Train twice in less than half an hour and during the Hollywood Studios After Hours we rode Slinky Dog Dash three times.
In addition to the very short lines, guests attending After Hours also get complimentary popcorn, ice cream, and select beverages. There are carts stationed throughout the parks that offer these complimentary items, so just keep an eye out for them.
The After Hours events start once the park closes, but guests with an After Hours ticket don’t have to wait until the park closes to get in. If you don’t have a regular theme park ticket, you can enter the park at 7 p.m. with your After Hours ticket. By entering the park as early as you can it gives you more time to enjoy the attractions.
