Disney’s been on a kick raising prices and it doesn’t seem like they are quite done yet. Annual passes and Park Hoppers recently had an increase and now the Minnie Van service from the airport has increased, but it’s a small increase at least.
A Minnie Van ride used to cost $150 each way and now the rides are listed as $155 each way. While $5 isn’t a big increase, it’s still an increase on an already expensive service. However, I will say the one time I booked a Minnie Van to pick me up at the airport and take me to my resort it was a very nice ride. The cast member was super friendly and interesting to talk to, she had a folder for me with information about my resort, and there were snacks and non-alcoholic drinks for the ride. The ride was very comfortable too. Not sure I would pay for it again, but it was a nice splurge for that trip.
Of course, you don’t have to use this service, Disney still offers the Magical Express complimentary for all Disney Resort hotel guests. You can sign up by calling the Magical Express and giving your flight information. The Magical Express will take you from the airport to your resort and then back to the airport again, free of charge. So that’s a nice bonus for staying on Disney World property.
Both services are available for transport to and from Orlando International Airport. The Minnie Van service can be booked by calling (407) 939-7529 and Magical Express can be booked by calling (407) 939-1936.
Have you ever booked a Minnie Van for airport service?
