Mickey Mouse’s birthday is November 18 and this year he is celebrating by traveling around the world and making stops at iconic locations.
Disney announced that not only will Mickey be traveling around the world for the next few weeks, but also that both Disneyland and Disney World will have celebrations on November 18.
In Disneyland they will have a special birthday celebration for Mickey before the parade. Over at Magic Kingdom in Disney World they will have a special edition of the Move It! Shake It! Dance & Play It! Street Party that will be themed for Mickey’s birthday celebration.
Another fun announcement is that there will be commemorative “Happy Birthday, Mickey!” buttons available for guests. You can find the buttons at select locations at Disneyland, Disney World, and at Disney Stores around the United States on November 18.
Mickey is currently on his world trip and you will be able to see highlights from that trip in a video that will be released on November 18 as well, and there will be a brand new song in the video called “What We Got.”
This is going a fun day to be in Disney World! I know I’m excited to be there for the celebration! And remember, even if you can’t be in Disney World or Disneyland for the celebration, you can head to your local Disney Store to get a commemorative button.
Are you excited for the celebration?

Hi Liz,
Do you think these buttons will still be available when I go up in April for Easter?
Gina
Hi Gina!
Unfortunately, I think these are just for Mickey’s Birthday. Maybe they will start selling something for Mickey’s birthday that you can buy online, but I don’t think they are going to have the commemorative buttons in the parks for that long.
Thanks Hon
You’re welcome! 🙂
