When you are staying in Disney for a week or longer having groceries on hand can help reduce the dining bill. A lot of people will have groceries delivered and there is one company that is mentioned over and over when the grocery delivery question pops up in Disney groups. It’s GardenGrocer.com and we used their grocery delivery service during our last trip.
When you go to the website you can check and see what delivery times are available for the day you would like the groceries delivered. Just click the “Shop” tab and you will see “Available Time Slots” on the life, under “Categories and Time Slots.”
Once you’ve checked availability for your day you should set up an account. It’s very easy to do, just click “Register” in the navigation bar and fill out the form. Once you have done that you can start shopping.
Click “Shop” in navigation bar and that will bring you back to the grocery categories. There is a long list of categories with a pretty big selection of items. So you should be able to find what you are looking for on their website. When you find an item you want just click the grocery cart icon. You can check you cart throughout the time you are shopping.
Once you have finished shopping you can start the checkout process. This is where you will pick your delivery time/date and where you pick the resort where it is being delivered. After you make your selections and pay for the groceries you will get a confirmation email. Make sure to keep the confirmation email with your travel documents. Chances are you won’t need it, but just in case you do, it’s good to have it with you.
After you have checked in to your resort and your groceries have arrived at Bell Services, you can call Bell Services and they will bring the groceries to your room. So you do not have to be there when the groceries are delivered to the resort, just when you want them brought to your room. So if your flight gets in at 2 p.m., you can have the groceries delivered at 2, that way they will be there when you check in.
The process is so simple and very helpful. We had no trouble whatsoever using GardenGrocer.com and will definitely be using them again. We found the prices to be reasonable and delivery was on time. It’s such a helpful service for those that like to have some food in the room, so they’re not eating out all the time.
If you do decide to order from them, you should know that they give discounts to people who order early. Here are the discounts:
- Order 15 Days Early = Save 5%
- Order 30 Days Early = Save 7%
- Order 60 Days Early = Save 10%
