Things are moving along in the area that will soon be Toy Story Land. Disney has been giving updates every once in a while, and today they’ve made a big announcement.
In addition to the rides, Toy Story Land will also have a quick service restaurant. This new restaurant will be named Woody’s Lunch Box. Cute, right? The idea is that Andy has set up his lunchbox as a walk up quick service restaurant. I love the creativity that is going in to this new land!
There is no menu available yet, but Disney says that there will be meals available, as well as old-fashioned soda floats. In the rendering on the Disney Parks Blog article you can see that Andy has used a thermos to keep the lunchbox open. If you look closely at the drawing it also looks like the thermos is one of the “Woody’s Roundup” items that we may have seen in the second movie.
It is going to be very fun to walk around this new land once it is open. The drawings show lots of creative ways Andy is supposed to have used his toys to decorate this area.
Toy Story Land is expected to open in Summer 2018, though we do not have an official opening date yet. Main Street Wishes will keep you updated with any new information released about Toy Story Land, including when the opening date is announced.
Are you excited for the opening of Toy Story Land?
