Many of us have been waiting anxiously to hear an opening date for the new Muppets themed pizza eatery in Hollywood Studios. Luckily, we don’t have to wait anymore.
Disney has announced that on November 18 PizzeRizzo will be opening in the location that was formerly occupied by Pizza Planet. The new restaurant decor is, of course, inspired by Rizzo and his family and friends.
There are two floors to PizzeRizzo and on the second floor you will find a wedding reception in progress in the Deluxe Supreme Banquet Hall. Guests get to join in the party and dance to the music under a disco ball.
Some of the items on the menu include:
- A Side Caesar Salad
- Personal-sized Pizza Pies
- Vegetable
- Pepperoni
- Meat Lovers
- Cheese
- Meatball Subs
- Antipasto Salad
- Cannoli
- Tiramisu
- Specialty Drinks
- Non-alcoholic Peach Bellini
- Wildberry-Basil Lemonade Limoncello
- Beer
It sounds like they have put a little more into the decorations with this pizza place than they did with Pizza Planet. I’m excited to see the second floor with the wedding reception!
I love the Muppets, so I’m very excited that they are going to have more of a presence in the park.
