This is the time of year when Disney World has some fun gingerbread displays for guests to see. Recently my friend was in Disney World and saw some of these displays. They are seriously impressive to see in person!
The Grand Floridian is probably the most popular gingerbread display, because there is a shop inside the gingerbread house. Guests can line up by the counter and put in orders for certain things sold at this location. In addition to the shop, the details on this house are amazing. The bakery team at Disney World pays close attention to the details, from the porch down to the 50th anniversary touches, it’s worth it to take the time to look at all sides of this display to see all the details. While looking at the details, make sure to look at the gingerbread sign. This sign tells you all the ingredients used and how much of each ingredient. It’s interesting to see how much it takes to make the display.
Another gingerbread display to stop by and see is the carousel at Disney’s Beach Club Resort. Not only are the horses detailed, but the carousel actually spins! Each year the horses have a theme and this year they are themed after Disney Princesses. Just like the gingerbread house, the carousel also has a list of ingredients by the display, so make sure to take a look at that while visiting.
There are so many decorations to see this time of year at Disney World. If you are visiting soon, try to factor in some time to see all the displays while you are there. Thanks to Melissa for sharing these pictures. She’s the co-owner of our travel agency, so if you are looking to plan a trip and would like some help with that (all planning and booking services are free when a trip is booked through our agency), you can find her information here.
Have you seen any of the gingerbread displays in person? Which one is your favorite?
Thanks for reading!
