This week’s featured photo brings us to the United Kingdom Pavilion in Epcot. It also works as a Flashback Friday photo.
The Christmas decorations at Disney World are really well done and bring out the feeling of the holiday season. Having seen pictures of the teapot and the tea cup from previous holiday seasons, I was hoping that would still be a decoration this past Christmas. We had a tea set that looked similar to the one in the picture when I was a kid, so there is a little something extra special to me about this decoration.
Our first full day in Disney World we headed over to Epcot. We were staying at the BoardWalk Inn, so we used the International Gateway entrance (love being that close to Epcot!). Once we were in the park we wandered to the left of the World Showcase and when we reached the UK Pavilion I was very happy to see that the teapot and tea cup decorations were still there.
During the holiday season there are so many great decorations and fun activities. Disney definitely knows how to do Christmas and the holiday season.
Here are things you can experience during the holiday season:
- Fun Holiday Decorations
- Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party (additional cost)
- Gingerbread Displays
- Resort Christmas Trees
- Meet Santa
- The Candlelight Processional (additional cost)
- Jingle Bell, Jingle Bam! (Projection show in Hollywood Studios)
- Holidays Around the World (Hear about the different countries and their holiday traditions)
It was such a treat to be able to go to Disney World during this time. I definitely recommend visiting at some point during the holiday season. Seeing the decorations, the trees, and the gingerbread displays is something every Disney fan should experience in person.
What’s your favorite Disney World holiday display?
