This week’s featured photo takes us to Dinoland USA in Animal Kingdom.
It specifically takes us to Dino-Rama in Dinoland USA. There are a couple of ways to enter Dino-Rama and one of them is under this gigantic dinosaur. You can’t help but look up when you pass underneath this big, but friendly looking dino. Once you walk underneath you will enter into Chester & Hester’s Dino-Rama, a carnival like area with rides and games.
It truly feels like a carnival, because Disney made it so you feel as though this is taking place in a parking lot. So that gives it an authentic feel of being at a carnival. The games (Fossil Fun Games) and rides add to the carnival vibe that you get while walking around.
Here are the rides you will find in Dino-Rama:
The Fossil Fun Games area includes:
- Whac-A-Packycephalosaur
- Fossil Fueler
- Mammoth Marathon
- Comet Crasher
- Bronto-Score
The game area also has a fun house curvy mirror, concession stand, painted photo backdrop, and a photo booth. In order to play the Fossil Fun Games guests will need to purchase vouchers at a souvenir stand near the games or at Chester and Hester’s Dinosaur Treasures.
This is a fun section of Animal Kingdom that can get overlooked. Even if you don’t want to ride either of the rides, its fun to walk around the area and look at all the details.
