Food and Wine Festival 2015: New Experiences
This year’s Food and Wine Festival has some new experiences for guests to try. Check out the new additions:
- Rockin’ Burger Block Party – Specialty sliders are available to guests as they dance the night away during this fun party. It takes place in the World ShowPlace Events Pavilion on September 25, October 8, and November 6. The cost is $99-$199 per guest. On October 8 the cast from the Chew will be there. There is VIP seating available with the Nosh Pit Seating package. For more info, see Disney’s website.
- What’s Cookin’ With – This is a fun event where you get to dine with dignitaries from the culinary industry. You will get to sample one of the guest of honor’s favorite dishes and ask them questions. The cost is $129 per guest and it will take place in the Festival Welcome Center on Fridays and Sundays from October 2 to November 15 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. For more info, see Disney’s website. - Tokyo Pairing – This experience gives you 3 tasting-size portions of Japanese food paired with sake and Japanese craft beer. The cost is $100 per guest and it will take place in Tokyo Dining in Japan at Epcot on Thursdays from $4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Here is what comes with this experience:
- Sushi
- Tuna shrimp
- Assorted tempura with scallops and lobster
- Edo-style duck breast and wheat soba
- Tokyo-style sukiyaki wagyu and grilled tofu
