Food and Wine 2015: Festival Center
The Festival Center will have quite a few things going on for Food and Wine Festival. Here is a list of what you will be able to find:
- Marketplace Passport – You can pick up your own passport at the Festival Center and have it stamped as you taste your way around the world.
- The Chocolate Experience: From Bean to the Bar – This experience, which is hosted by Ghirardelli, will show you the process of how the bean becomes a chocolate bar. You will have a chance to sample chocolates, buy gourmet drinking chocolate, pick a wine and chocolate pairing, and buy Ghirardelli chocolates.
- Stockpot Shop – This will be a good place to stop to find fun Food and Wine souvenirs, like cookbooks and cooking products.
- Wine Shop – The place to go for selecting a nice wine, spirit, or beer from different prestigious producers who are featured throughout the festival.
- Intermissions Cafe – Here you will find a good selection of wine, cheese, sandwiches, and salads.
- Remy’s Ratatouille Hide & Squeak – This will give the kids something fun to do during the festival. You can buy your map and stickers at special locations in Festival Center, Pin Central, Port of Entry, or World Travel at International Gateway. Once the child has completed the map they will get a special surprise.
- Bottle Signings – You can purchase wine and have it autographed, which makes for a fun and different souvenir. The Festival Center Information Desk will have the daily schedules.
- Book Signings and Meet & Greets – Get your books or other merchandise signed by an author or personality. The Festival Center Information Desk will have the daily schedules.
- Seasons of the Vine – A film that takes guests on the journey of winemaking. It lasts 7 minutes and is shown all day, each day of the event.
- Back to Basics – Here you can learn the tips and tricks of the pros. This takes place on the Spotlight Stage Fridays through Sundays at 12:15 p.m., 2:15 p.m., 4:15 p.m., and 6:15 p.m.
