There are many variables when you are purchasing tickets for Disney’s parks. The different add-on options were covered in Part 1, but you still have to figure out how many days the ticket will cover.
Of course, the cost will depend on the amount of people that are in your group and their ages. For the purposes of this post, I am going to cover prices for 1 adult ticket (ages 10 and up).
Believe it or not you will actually pay less per day the more days you add to your tickets. We had this happen the last time we were in Disney. We had 4-day base tickets and were told we could add a fifth day for just $10 per person. So, of course we did!
This makes it much easier to rationalize buying tickets for more days. Here is a breakdown of an adult ticket from 1 to 10 days (please note there are two different prices for 1-day tickets depending on which park you go to):
- 1-Day Ticket:
- Magic Kingdom: $105
- Epcot, Animal Kingdom, or Hollywood Studios: $97
- 2-Day Ticket: $96 per day ($192 total)
- 3-Day Ticket: $91.67 per day ($275 total)
- 4-Day Ticket: $76.25 per day ($305 total)
- 5-Day Ticket: $63 per day ($315 total)
- 6-Day Ticket: $54.17 per day ($325 total)
- 7-Day Ticket: $47.86 per day ($335 total)
- 8-Day Ticket: $43.13 per day ($345 total)
- 9-Day Ticket: $39.45 per day ($355 total)
- 10-Day Ticket: $36.50 per day ($365 total)
So, if you are going to be there long enough to use a 10-day ticket it’s worth it to get it. Especially if you are staying close to the parks.
It’s important to note that these were the prices at the time of writing this post. Disney increases the cost of tickets every year.
