Today’s dose of Disney brings us to the newest land at Hollywood Studios, Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.
This new land is completely immersive from the moment you step into it. There is so much to see and explore throughout the area that it’s easy to spend hours upon hours walking around this area. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, you don’t have to be a Star Wars fan to appreciate the attention to detail that was put into this project. It’s really impressive to see in person!
The characters that wander this land are a big part of the experience. They are so fun to interact with and you can easily locate where they are in the land because crowds gather quickly. It’s also fun to see them just going about their day, living their lives on Batuu. That’s what we saw when entering the land during a preview before it officially opened. One of the first things we came across was Chewbacca and Rey working on a ship, well Rey was working on it, Chewie decided to come over and greet the crowd. Watching Rey work on the ship you felt like you were in her story and a part of it, which is a pretty cool feature of this land.
Hope this brought a little magic to your day!
Thanks for reading!

Thank you for sharing! I love this and we can’t wait. We are big Star Wars fans. We just pushed back our trip 6 months due to COVID-19 and I will still refuse to watch Rise of the Resistance or Millenium Falcon rider POV videos on YouTube! 🙂 Must. See. In. Person! I’m afraid I’ll ugly cry when I get to Galaxy’s Edge. Sigh.
