Exciting news for fans of Garden Grill! Disney has announced on the restaurant’s page that breakfast will return on June 14, 2023.
This is great news, because it’s nice to have more breakfast options in the park. This is a character dining location, so it is not a quick service option. Guests are seated at a table in the slowly rotating restaurant and characters will visit, multiple times, throughout the meal. Rotating? Yes, a rotating restaurant. The restaurant turns very slowly as guests dine and there are different scenes that can be viewed below the restaurant. Those scenes can also be seen on the Living with the Land ride, which is downstairs in the same building, The Land Pavilion. If you are on the ride, make sure to look up when you get to the farmhouse scene, you will be able to see some of the restaurant slowly moving above you.
Breakfast will be served family style, like lunch and dinner. Included on the platter will be cinnamon breakfast bread, scrambled eggs, cheesy potato casserole, Mickey-shaped waffles, and more. This restaurant sources some ingredients from greenhouses on property, which is shown through the lunch and dinner menus, but maybe some of those ingredients will end up in a dish for breakfast as well. We’ll have to wait and see when Disney releases a full breakfast menu.

Characters are always subject to change, but these are the characters that have always been there when we’ve been to Garden Grill. This is one of the best places to see characters, because they come to the table multiple times. I think the last time they all made it to the table four or five times. So if you don’t get a picture the first time, don’t worry, they’ll be back.
