This announcement has been something fans of the Disney Dining Plan have been waiting for. As of today, alcoholic drinks are now included in the Disney Dining Plans.
You read that correctly, when you purchase a Disney Dining Plan you now have the option of ordering one alcoholic beverage with your meal. Before this announcement guests would have to pay out of pocket if they wanted an alcoholic beverage with their meal.
This change will be included starting with the 2018 dining plans. The 2017 dining plans still do not include alcoholic beverages with the meals. Here is the description from Disney’s website:
Beverages (2018 plan only):
Guests under 21 years of age can choose one non-alcoholic beverage (including specialty beverages where offered). Guests 21 and older can choose either one non-alcoholic beverage (including specialty beverages where offered) or one single-serving mixed cocktail, beer, or wine (where offered) within their meal entitlement.A single-serving non-alcoholic beverage includes items such as:
- Artisanal Milkshakes
- Fresh Smoothies
- Premium Hot Chocolate
- Soda, Coffee or Tea
A single-serving alcoholic beverage includes items such as:
- Beer or Cider
- Wine or Sangria
- Mixed Drinks and Specialty Cocktails
Most beer, wine and mixed drink beverages included, some exceptions apply. Guests 21 and older must present valid ID to be served alcoholic beverages. Alcoholic beverages may only be redeemed with a Quick-Service or Table-Service meal entitlement.
Disney Dining Plan Prices
- Quick Service Dining Plan: $52.50 for adults, $21.74 for kids
- Disney Dining Plan: $75.49 for adults, $25.75 for kids
- Deluxe Dining Plan: $116.25 for adults, $39.99 for kids
All dining plans come with a refillable mug and 2 snacks. The Quick Service Dining Plan comes with 2 quick service meals, the Dining Plan comes with one table service meal and one quick service meal, and the Deluxe Dining Plan comes with 3 meals (any combination of table service and quick service).

Are you happy about the addition of alcoholic beverages to the dining plans?
Thanks for reading!

Great idea for an alcoholic drink with a meal I think more people will book the dining plan for 2018.
I think you’re right, Bill! 🙂
I Think it’s Great.
It will probably help some people feel that they are getting their money’s worth for the Dining Plan.
I agree, Tom! It will be interesting to see if more people try the dining plans next year.
Great, what a bonus! Any recommendations of fancy drinks to try?
Hi Eve!
If it’s not one of the drink exceptions to the dining plan, I would recommend the Lapu Lapu. It’s the pineapple drink in the picture and it’s so good!
