There have been some additions to the refurb schedule for Disney World. Most of them are later this year and 2016, but there is one addition to the list that starts at the end of this month.
Primeval Whirl will be closed for refurb from August 17 until November 12, 2015. This ride is located in the Dinoland USA section of Animal Kingdom. It’s a roller coaster, but it spins as you are going up and down and around corners. It’s a fun ride, but it can be a little rough. Some people complain of getting bruised on the ride. I’ve never gotten a bruise from the ride, but I can see how some people wouldn’t enjoy it.
Not to worry, there are plenty of other rides and things to see and do in Animal Kingdom while this is down for refurbishment. If you are looking for a roller coaster type ride in Animal Kingdom, you can try Expedition Everest. Love that ride! Watch out for the Yeti!
