This week’s Snackshot is a fun drink that comes with a duck.
Staying Club Level at Disney World is a splurge and something some people will save up for specifically, because they enjoy it so much. There are some perks when staying Club Level and one of those is the wonderful cast members that work there. They are always happy to answer questions and try to fulfill requests that guests have. One thing guests staying Club Level at Disney’s BoardWalk Inn can request is the signature blue drink or the “BoardWalk Blue Drink.” These are fun drinks that come with different color rubber duck floating in the drink.
Last I knew, the ingredients for the blue drink are raspberry vodka, Blue Curaçoa, Peach Schnapps, Lemon Juice, and simple syrup. The recipe could have changed since I was last there, but even if it did I’m sure it’s still good. For kids, and adults that do not drink alcohol, there is an non-alcoholic version available as well. These drinks are meant to be welcome drinks for guests checking in, but they can be requested throughout your Club Level stay.

Booking Club Level at a Deluxe Resorts or Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort (the tower), food and drinks are included. So it’s nice to not have to worry about making dining reservations. Club Level lounges serve breakfast, snacks around lunchtime, hors d’oeuvres for dinner, desserts, and cordials. So pretty much each meal can be eaten at the lounge. There isn’t a lot served for the lunchtime hours, but there are vegetables and dip, chips, cookies, and other snacks. If you are going to be in the parks for lunch, you can make a sandwich of with some of the meats at breakfast and use a bagel or a croissant. Water bottles are available in the fridges at the lounges, so grabbing one of those before you go will save on buying water in the park. Milk, juices, coffee, tea, beer, wine, and Mickey bars are also available.
Club Level is not inexpensive by any means, but the cost could be worth it, depending on what you usually spend on food and drinks. iI you are interested to see if it would work in your favor, I would add up the cost for the restaurants you would book and see if it makes sense. It’s also a great room option if you are doing a resort only stay. The lounges are nice and have views of the resort, and most have views of fireworks at night.

Hope you enjoyed this week’s Snackshot!
Thanks for reading!
