Last week I posted the above picture and asked for guesses as to where it is located. There were some great guesses and nine people knew where to find the screen.
Congratulations to everyone who knew the screen can be found on Soarin’ Around the World in EPCOT. This popular attraction is located in The Land Pavilion on the bottom level. For this pavilion, guests enter on the second floor, so you will need to take the escalator (or elevator) down to the first floor. You can’t miss the entrance, just look for the big Soarin’ sign. If you get to EPCOT early enough and go to The Land Pavilion first, you will be able to ride it with minimal to no wait time. As the day goes on the wait time usually increases quite a bit, so it’s good to experience this first thing.
The screen in the picture is located in the queue line. On the screens Disney asks different trivia questions and guests can play along on the play Disney app. It’s a nice way to keep everyone entertained while waiting in line. Once guests reach the front of the line they are separated into different rows to watch a video before getting on the actual ride. Seinfeld fans will notice it’s Puddy giving the safety talk.
Once all guests are seated and have their safety belts on, the ride will start. Guests are lifted up in front of an 180-degree, 80-foot IMAX digital projection dome, which helps with the feeling that you are actually flying over each location.
