The Outdoor Kitchens Line-Up
According to Disney Parks Blog, two new Outdoor Kitchens will be joining the food line-up for the festival. The new additions are La Isla Fresca and Cider House.
Dishes with Caribbean flavor will be available at La Isla Fresca. Here is a sample of what you can expect to see on the menu:
- Jamaican Braised Beef with Pigeon Peas and Rice
- Spicy Jerk Chicken
- Grouper with Mango Salsa
- Tres Leches Cake with Guava Puree
- Red Strip Jamaican-style Lager
- Frozen Simply Tropical Juice Drink (available with or without rum)
United Kingdom dishes will be available at The Cider House. Here are some things you will find on the menu:
- Field Greens Salad (greens from The Land Pavilion)
- Heirloom Apples
- Stilton Cheese and Dried Blueberries
- Pear Cider-brined Shredded Corned Beef
- Braised Cabbage and Pears with Branston Dressing
The Cider House will also offer four hard ciders. A blueberry cider and a Kolsch-style beer are included, both are brewed in Florida.
There are 11 additional Outdoor Kitchens that will be at the Flower & Garden Festival. They include:
- Urban Farm Eats
- Pineapple Promenade
- Fleur de Lys
- Florida Fresh
- Taste of Marrakesh
- Hanami
- THE SMOKEHOUSE: Barbecue and Brews
- Primavera Kitchen
- Lotus House
- Bauernmarkt
- Jardin de Fiestas
The festival will, of course, include flowers and gardens as well. There will be fun topiaries and this includes the return of Anna and Elsa. Make sure to check out the “floating gardens” in the lagoon too, all 220 of them! Plus, they will have an edible flower garden next to The Land Pavilion.
The festival starts March 2, 2016 and runs through May 30. We will keep you updated on any news that is released regarding the festival.
