Today is National Margarita Day and Rachel Brent, Food and Beverage Marketing Communications Coordinator, has posted a list of some of her favorite spots for margaritas on Disney Parks Blog.
In Hollywood Studios, at the Hollywood Brown Derby Lounge, she suggests the ‘Citizens Take Flight’ tasting. This includes three margaritas: Bucky Greenhorn’s Derby Margarita, Melivan Macheezmo’s Mango Margarita, and Ready Freddy Fiddlesticks Pomegranate Margarita.
After, she heads over to the World Showcase in Epcot to La Hacienda de San Angel for an Orange Mango Fire Margarita. This margarita consists of premium silver agave tequila, ginger liqueur, orange juice, mango puree, fresh lime juice, and Tabasco sauce. This is served on the rocks with a Tajin chili powder rim.
She also mentions a few good spots at different areas outside the parks. If you are on the BoardWalk you can stop by BoardWalk Joe’s Marvelous Margaritas, at Coronado Springs the Rix Lounge has some handcrafted margaritas that guests can sample, and you can try the Moonshine Margarita at Whispering Canyon Cafe at the Wilderness Lodge.
