Last week I posted the above picture and asked for questions as to where it is located. This one must have been a tough one, but there were some good guesses.
The props can be found in the queue line for Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance at Hollywood Studios. There are lots of things to see in the queue line, so definitely look around as you are passing through. These props are up high, so they would be easy to miss, plus people are always looking around because they’re anticipating getting on the ride. Find the props in the room where guests wait before being led into the area where the hologram of Rey plays.
The experience starts the second you enter the queue, and I’m not just talking about the decorations. All the cast members play their parts, they are either part of the Resistance or part of the First Order. Honestly, it never really feels like you are in a queue line. The second you enter the queue line you are constantly being moved from place to place and you feel as though you are part of the story. It’s a great way to take away that feeling of waiting in another line.
The ride itself lasts about 5 minutes or so. However, keep in mind there are a few things that happen before the actual ride. It feels like you are in the middle of one of the Star Wars stories. The whole attraction is really more of an experience rather than being just about the ride. It was pretty impressive and a lot of fun. Check out the video below to see some of the bigger parts of the experience.
Thanks to everyone who played along this week. Another Where is it Wednesday picture will be up soon!
