This week’s Snackshot brings us to Main Street U.S.A. at Magic Kingdom.
The Main Street Confectionary has lots of sweet treats. Guests will find candy apples, cookies, lollipops, and more. There’s are a few different areas with specific treats guests can purchase. There’s the Color Kitchen, the Glacier Bar, and the Kernel Kitchen. The Color Kitchen is where guests can get M & M’s of all different colors, guests choose the colors they want and put them in a bag. This is a pay by the pound item, so keep that in mind when filling the bag. The Glacier Kitchen is where guests order frozen drinks with the option of adding candy. So, as you can see, this is the place to go for sweet treats. However, anyone looking something a little salty will find that here too.

The Kernel Kitchen is located near the back of the store, but there are usually some displays of sample popcorn mixes near the front. At the Kernel Kitchen, guests first will pick from 4 different popcorn flavors to fill their popcorn bucket. Next guests pick the toppings. There are choices of different chocolate drizzles, as well as things like marshmallows, M & M’s, cookie pieces, pretzel pieces, and more. The cast members fill the popcorn buckets half way with popcorn and then put a layer of chocolate drizzle and toppings, then the remaining popcorn is put on top and again topped with chocolate drizzle and toppings. Doing it this way allows there to be more of a mixture of the popcorn and toppings. With all the different toppings and the different flavors of popcorn, each guest can make their own unique mix.

Hope you enjoyed this week’s Snackshot! Have you tried the popcorn mix from the Kernel Kitchen?
Thanks for reading!
