Disney had discontinued the luggage transfer perk in 2022, two years after discontinuing the Magical Express service. However, the luggage program returned last year, but it is very limited as to which resorts and airlines are eligible.
The luggage transfer option was a very nice service that Disney offered, and many guests used it. So it’s not surprising that so many people were disappointed when the service was continued, especially after losing the Magical Express two years before that. So far it’s been brought back for a limited amount of guests staying at certain resorts and flying certain airlines. However, I’m holding out hope that it will be extended to all resorts and airlines at some point. The latest resort to be added to the list is Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort

Included Resorts
- Caribbean Beach Resort
- Art of Animation
- Pop Century
- The All-Star Resorts (Movies, Music, and Sports)
Included Airlines
- Southwest Airlines
- American Airlines
- United Airlines

Guests who are staying at one of the resorts listed and flying one of the airlines included can also have their luggage transferred from their resort hotel back to the airport for their departing flight. To use this service, guests can drop off their checked luggage at the Airport Luggage Transfer desk at the porte-cochere and their luggage will be delivered directly to their flight at Orlando International Airport.
Have you used the luggage transfer service since it has partially returned?
Thanks for reading!

Hello Liz hopefully everything is going well with you and your family.Just wondering is there luggage transfer to the Polynesian Resort? If not do you see that returning at that resort?
Hi Dennis! It hasn’t returned to the deluxe resorts yet, and it’s only offered at one moderate resort right now, unfortunately. It’s been a little over a year since they reintroduced the program, so I’m hopeful that over the next year they’ll continue to add resorts to the service. I’ll keep an eye out for more news on that and post when I see something. Fingers crossed they’ll add all resorts at some point!
