Last week I posted the picture above and asked for guesses as to where it is. A couple of people were able to identify where to find the wall.
Congratulations to Shelly and Lori who knew that the wall can be found at PizzeRizzo in Hollywood Studios! The wall is located in one of the upstairs rooms, which is considered the ballroom where Rizzo is throwing a party for guests, complete with a disco ball. The theming starts with the outside of the restaurant and continues inside. There’s definitely no question that this is a Muppet themed restaurant.
The quick service area is very open. There are screens with the menu above the kitchen and you can see the menu while you wait in line. The kitchen is open, which allows you to see into the kitchen when you walk in the restaurant. That helps to add to the openness of the restaurant.
There are a few different seating areas for guests. The downstairs has booths that have curtain partitions, tables are set up around the border, and the floor is red, white, and green. Upstairs the tables have a red and white checkered pattern on them. There are booths (with more curtain partitions) and tables available upstairs. Make sure to look around at the decorations on the wall if you eat upstairs. Things like New York subway signs decorate the walls, helping to add to the theme of the restaurant.
The ballroom is a fun room filled with wedding decorations (because Rizzo is throwing a wedding reception and you’re invited!), complete with spinning disco ball and big chandeliers. Fun music also plays while you eat. This room only has tables, no booths, but the tables and chairs look a bit more “fancy” than the other seating areas in the restaurant.
Both the upstairs and the downstairs offer outdoor seating. There are also stations around the restaurant with utensils, napkins, etc. Something else to point out is that in addition to stairs, there is an elevator available in the restaurant, as you can see in the picture below.
The menu consists of pizza, salads, a meatball sub, a plant-based spicy Italian “sausage” sub, desserts, alcoholic beverages, non-alcoholic beverages, and kids’ meals. There are also seasonal offerings that will show up on the menu. The Muppets Haunted Mansion eclair, frozen apple cider, and pumpkin cannoli are on the menu now for Halloween.
Make sure to look around at all the decorations while visiting this restaurant, like the garbage cans. Disney has a habit of having the garbage cans match the theme of the area where they are located and they definitely match the Muppet theme.
Congratulations to those who knew where to find the wall and thanks to everyone who played along! Another Where is it Wednesday picture will be up soon.
Have you been to PizzeRizzo?
Thanks for reading!
