Disney has only been accepting new reservations that begin on July 1 and beyond lately. So the speculated opening date of June 1 was looking less and less unlikely. Today that proved to be true.

Let me start by saying a reopening date for Disney World and Disneyland is not known at this time. I’m also not going to speculate as to when I think the park will be opening, because it honestly doesn’t matter what I think. Only Disney knows when they will reopen and I’ll definitely post an update when a date is officially announced by Disney.
Disney recently announced that they were closing their parks until further notice. After doing that they have been actively helping the community by donating food and supplies.
Disney has not officially announced a reopening date, because it is too soon to tell. They have, however, said that new bookings are available for beginning June 1 for Disney World and Disneyland.
Disney has released an offer for guests who had to cancel a reservation due to the park closures. This package is only for those that had/have reservations during the closure date. Continue reading
Guests who have trips planned in the next couple of months have been waiting to hear Disney’s decision on reopening. Today Disney answered that question.
More updates regarding hotel operations and Disney Springs have been released. Disney has been updating their closure information page regularly.
Walt Disney World has been updating their page with more information for guests who are traveling to Disney World soon. Transportation, final payments, annual passes, and special events that happen outside of the parks are the latest updates.
