On Wednesday I posted the above picture and asked for guesses as to where it is located. This one seemed like an easy one for many of you Disney fans. Quite a few people knew where the picture is located!
The picture is located in the standby queue line of Peter Pan’s Flight in Magic Kingdom. The standby queue line for Peter Pan’s Flight is so incredibly well done. Honestly, I usually FastPass it, so this was the first time I have seen the queue line since it was redone a while back. Guests start outside the Darling’s house, where you will see poor Nana outside. The line then takes guests through the Darling’s home.
Inside the home is such detail! The imagineers did a great job making it feel as though you are actually walking through the Darling’s home. Guests will eventually make their way to the nursery, where the Darling children meet Peter Pan. In the nursery the queue line weaves back and forth as guests make their way through the room. There is a lot to see in the nursery, so it’s fun to look around and see all the details. One of the fun features of this part of the line is that guests will see Tinker Bell flying around the room. Tink darts all around, so make sure to keep an eye out for her!
Another great feature is the wall with the interactive shadows. In this area guests might see Tinker Bell’s shadow, butterflies, bells, or something else fun to interact with. We saw Tinker Bell sprinkle pixie dust on guests and we saw bells drop from the ceiling that guests could reach up and ring with their hands. The shadow wall is very cool!
Once you get past the outdoor queue line, this is one of the most detailed and fun queue lines in Disney World. Disney did a great job with detail and making it entertaining for guests. So if you want to ride Peter Pan’s Flight, but can’t get a FastPass, you can hop in line and at least see an interesting queue line.
Thanks to everyone who played along this week and congratulations to those that knew where the picture is located! We’ll play again next Wednesday!
