Here is their follow up advice to the initial tweet.
Only those with Confirmed hepatitis A need vaccination. Patrons should monitor for symptoms: sudden onset of abdominal discomfort, dark urine, fever, diarrhea, and yellow skin and eyes (jaundice). Anyone experiencing these symptoms should seek medical attention promptly.
Therefore, those who consumed food or beverage at the restaurant between November 6, 2018, and November 16, 2018, should promptly contact their healthcare provider to receive vaccination.
I think I have been exposed to hepatitis A. What should I do?
If you have any questions about potential exposure to hepatitis A, call your health professional or your local or state health department. If you were recently exposed to hepatitis A virus and have not been vaccinated against hepatitis A, you might benefit from an injection of either hepatitis A vaccine or immune globulin. However, the vaccine or immune globulin are only effective if given within the first 2 weeks after exposure. A health professional can decide what is best based on your age and overall health.
The bottom line is that if you ate at Morimoto Asia between November 6 and November 16, 2018 keep an eye on the symptoms. If you have any concern that you might have contracted hepatitis A then call your doctor and get checked out.
We will update with any new information that is released.
